SAMS' Seaweed Academy courses: One-Week Intensive Seaweed Industry Course

We are delighted to announce that our Seaweed Academy One-Week Intensive Industry Course will be running from the 27th to the 31st of January 2025!
This course is designed for those interested in the seaweed industry and are keen to expand and deepen their knowledge of the sector.
You will have the opportunity to be taught by our experts who are at the forefront of industry research covering a wide range of topics from industry overviews, the cultivation cycle, markets, economics, and licencing.
You will also have the opportunity to have a guided tour of the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa, our commercial Seaweed Nursery, and our research Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture farm (weather dependent) as well as receive guest lectures from industry specialists.
Our course is accredited by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology (IMarEST). Upon completion of the course and a short exam, you can receive an IMarEST accredited certificate.
